Solution Architect - MS Purview

- Define the target state architecture for Microsoft Purview spanning Azure, AWS, M365, on-premises, and third-party platforms - Design and develop integration patterns for consolidating catalogs into Purview from tools like Informatica - Establish reference architecture, integration patterns, and guidelines for Purview - Create collections, hierarchies, and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) that align with domain structures and legal entity boundaries - Promote domain stewardship while ensuring adherence to enterprise taxonomies and governance standards - Configure Data Map, Catalog, Scans, Classifications, Sensitivity Labels, and Lineage - Enhance scan strategies focusing on frequency, cost, and performance; expand classifiers and metadata models - Integrate Purview with M365 Information Protection, Entra ID, and security frameworks - Support the detection of Personally Identifiable Information (PII), Payment Card Industry (PCI), and Protected Health Information (PHI), ensuring regulatory compliance with standards such as SOX, GLBA, NYDFS, and GDPR - Collaborate with Synapse, Fabric, Databricks, Snowflake, SQL Server, AWS sources, and SAP/Oracle for seamless integration - Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD for Purview artifacts, and automate processes via APIs - Conduct training sessions, create onboarding guides, and support steward enablement - Facilitate workshops for introducing new data domains and products - Present executive-level updates on project progress, risks, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
