Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Over 3 years of experience in software quality assurance, including both application software and hardware systems
- Profound understanding of communication protocols such as EtherCAT, CAN, and UART
- Familiarity with real-time operating systems (RTOS), Windows, and Linux environments
- Strong proficiency in programming languages like C, C++, or Python, specifically for automation testing
- Practical experience with version control systems including Git and SVN, as well as CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail
- Experience testing safety-critical software systems (e.g., automotive, medical devices) is preferred
- Knowledge of regulatory standards such as FDA guidelines and IEC 62304 for medical software development is a plus
- ISTQB or similar quality assurance certification is advantageous
Responsibilities
- Create, document, and implement detailed test cases for both application and embedded software
- Detect, document, and monitor software defects, discrepancies, and performance concerns using bug tracking tools
- Work closely with developers, hardware engineers, and product managers to gather requirements and formulate effective testing strategies
- Evaluate test results, offer insights, and suggest enhancements to improve software performance and reliability
- Promote ongoing enhancements in testing methodologies, tools, and processes to elevate product quality and shorten time-to-market
