Requirements
Must:
- 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) within a Fintech or product organization.
- 4+ years of experience with automation tools such as Python, Java, Ansible, or PowerShell.
- 4+ years of experience with observability and monitoring tools like Dynatrace, Splunk, Moogsoft, or Grafana.
- Bachelors degree in computer science or a related technical field, or 7+ years of equivalent professional experience.
- Experience managing CI/CD pipelines and automation tools such as GitLab, Harness, Nexus, Terraform, or SonarQube is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for root cause analysis and proactive solution development.
- Excellent communication skills for teamwork and customer collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Automate operational tasks and health checks to establish sustainable systems and services.
- Monitor the production environment to ensure system integrity using observability tools like Dynatrace and Splunk.
- Identify reliability gaps through process reengineering and evaluate performance metrics.
- Collaborate with development operations for system design consulting, platform management, and capacity planning.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including SOPs, configurations, and infrastructure layouts.
Description
We are seeking a Site Reliability Engineer for our Lincoln, NE location. This is an onsite position and offers a contract-to-hire opportunity with a competitive hourly pay range of $70.00 to $80.00. Our team is dedicated to blending software engineering principles with operational excellence to develop high-performing, reliable software systems. We emphasize the design and implementation of tools, processes, and systems that enhance the reliability, scalability, and performance of large-scale applications and services.
