Requirements
Must:
- Over 8 years of experience within the ServiceNow ecosystem
- At least 4 years of expertise in ServiceNow architecture, design, and implementation
- Proven experience in delivering a minimum of two ServiceNow implementations, including one large enterprise project
- Comprehensive understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture and its essential components
- Hands-on experience with:
- JavaScript (both client-side and server-side)
- Glide APIs

- Service Portal
- In-depth knowledge of:
- CMDB and CSDM
- Instance strategy and platform governance
- Security model and access controls
- Integrations utilizing REST, SOAP, and IntegrationHub
- Familiarity with multiple ServiceNow modules such as:
- ITSM, ITOM
- CMDB / CSDM
- IRM / GRC
- HRSD
- SecOps
- SPM
- CSM
- Creator Workflows
- Strong background in integrating ServiceNow with enterprise systems like ERP, HR, and Cloud platforms
- Experience with platform upgrades and the simplification or remediation of customizations
- Knowledge of Agile and DevOps methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills with the capability to convey technical concepts to C-level stakeholders
- Ability to function in a consulting and advisory capacity as a trusted expert guide
Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted advisor regarding ServiceNow platform architecture, governance, and maturity
- Define and oversee the comprehensive technical strategy for the ServiceNow platform
- Ensure the modules scalability, performance, security, and long-term viability
- Establish and uphold platform governance, coding standards, naming conventions, and guidelines
- Identify and actively mitigate technical debt while encouraging the use of out-of-the-box functionalities
- Convert business objectives into phased technical implementation plans
- Collaborate with enterprise architects to link ServiceNow with essential business systems
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to developers and administrators
- Assess and recommend new ServiceNow features, including GenAI and Now Assist
- Spearhead proof-of-concept and pilot projects for new functionalities
- Develop and maintain high-level design documents, architectural diagrams, and best-practice manuals
- Advocate for the adoption of ServiceNow across various business units beyond just IT
Description
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Platform Architect to spearhead enterprise-level architecture, governance, and strategic adoption of the ServiceNow platform. This full-time position is based in Balcones Heights, TX, and involves hands-on technical expertise as well as advisory roles, working in close collaboration with executive stakeholders, platform owners, and delivery teams. Our architect will prioritize the long-term health, scalability, and modernization of the platform, focusing on minimizing technical debt and embracing new ServiceNow functionalities like AI and automation features.
