Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in an engineering discipline such as Systems, Biomedical, Robotics, Software, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
- Over 5 years of relevant technical experience in the medical device industry, preferably in medical or surgical robotics
- Proficiency in developing verification methods and strategies for complex medical devices
- Familiarity with maintaining traceability for extensive multi-layered product requirements
- In-depth knowledge of medical device standards such as IEC 60601-1 and related standards
- Experience in implementing test method verification
- Background working on complex electromechanical medical device programs through verification and validation phases
- Ability to determine sample sizes for tests using statistical processes
- Skilled in conducting statistical analysis to evaluate multi-sample tests
- Experience in validating software tools and test fixtures
Responsibilities
- Develop test methods for verifying complex medical robotics systems
- Support and update requirements traceability and risk assessments
- Implement processes in the toolchain for verification and issue management
- Conduct system and subsystem verification tests
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in systems engineering and quality processes
