Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related discipline (Masters preferred)
- 7+ years of experience in test engineering or hardware design for PCBA test systems
- Strong proficiency in PCB design tools (e.g., Altium, OrCAD, Mentor Graphics) and schematic capture
- Comprehensive understanding of electrical interfaces, signal integrity, and test instrumentation
- In-depth knowledge and expertise with analog and mixed signals
- Experience with microcontrollers, DSP, SoC design, and the use of sensors, MEMS, optics, temperature sensors, and gyroscopes
- Familiarity with LabVIEW/TestStand integration and automated test systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Quick learner with the ability to apply concepts to problem-solving
- Capability to work independently and collaboratively with moderate supervision
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, adaptable in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of DFT (Design for Test) principles
- Knowledge of high-speed digital interfaces and mixed-signal design
- Experience in manufacturing test environments and process optimization
Responsibilities
- Oversee the design and implementation of test systems throughout the product lifespan to ensure durable and scalable solutions.
- Direct the electrical design for the test interface board related to PCBA Tester design.
- Conduct thorough troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for issues related to production, yield, and field returns using hardware and software diagnostics.
- Assist cross-functional teams by providing data analysis, FMEA support, and optimizing test strategies.
- Create and sustain automated test software using languages such as C#, C, LabVIEW, TESTSTAND, and SQL while enhancing existing test frameworks.
- Rapidly grasp and comprehend intricate test systems from electrical, mechanical, and system-software perspectives.
- Keep meticulous documentation, maintain revision control, and ensure compliance with quality standards and processes.
- Execute other assigned tasks and responsibilities as needed.
