Requirements
Must:
- Active TS/SCI with CI Poly security clearance.
- Over 7 years of experience in a Technical Writer, knowledge management, or equivalent role focused on content.
- Proficient in using content management systems or intranets (e.g., GitLab, Confluence, Drupal) for publishing and maintaining documentation.
- Skilled in creating technical diagrams, charts, and graphics suitable for various audiences.
- Experienced in supporting technical teams with writing templates, SOPs, and style guides, emphasizing human-centered design (HCD) and best practices for web writing.
- Strong ability to work autonomously and experience in an Agile Software environment.
Responsibilities
- Convert complex technical information into clear, succinct written documentation and visual content.
- Create and update system documentation, technical diagrams, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and user manuals.
- Develop and refine technical roadmaps, workflows, and visual artifacts to facilitate planning and communication.
- Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and project managers to gather and clarify technical requirements.
- Produce communication materials for senior government stakeholders, tailored to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ensure all documentation meets project objectives, client expectations, and security classification standards.
- Aid in the preparation of briefing materials and reports for regular client engagements.
- Manage documentation tasks and deliverables independently while adhering to tight deadlines.
