Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Geotechnical, Civil, or a related Engineering discipline.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license (with ability to acquire licensure in additional states).
- At least 5 years of experience in geotechnical engineering, specifically in solar infrastructure.
- Background in large-scale construction projects is preferred.
- Experience in a consulting firm and existing client relationships are advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Create scopes of work and draft proposals for solar-related geotechnical endeavors.
- Oversee project execution including scope, timeline, budget, and safety protocols.
- Assist in business development and help drive strategic objectives.
- Establish and nurture client relationships through consistent engagement.
- Collaborate with regional operations leaders to coordinate staff and resources.
- Prepare and evaluate geotechnical engineering reports and assessments.
- Ensure adherence to quality control standards and address technical challenges.
- Lead technical teams and provide mentorship to junior engineering staff.
- Support team development for transmission and power infrastructure initiatives.
