Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in fundamental Computer Science and proficiency in object-oriented design and software patterns
- Proficient in Java, C++, or Python for full stack software development
- Proven leadership experience in software development lifecycle tasks
- Active Top-Secret U.S. Security Clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility required
- Bachelors degree in engineering, technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science is preferred
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JS frameworks such as REACT
- Experience with Agile methodologies and practices, including daily standups and sprint planning
- Knowledge of test-driven development, agile software development, and CI/CD management practices
- Proficient with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI
- Experience with middleware technologies such as Java Message Service (JMS) and WebLogic
- Skilled in dependency management and automation services like Maven, Gradle, and Git
- Knowledge of RDBMS (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) systems
- Experience in writing and executing test cases for unit, integration, and system testing
- Background in systems engineering or software development related to space or ground systems
Responsibilities
- Direct the planning of software development activities, including design, coding, and various testing phases of user stories and features
- Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify system definitions and translate system-level requirements into actionable software requirements
- Assess completed software system analyses to pinpoint risks, issues, and growth opportunities, managing integration and deployment strategies
- Conduct code reviews to ensure compliance with requirements and standards
- Oversee the monitoring and evaluation of testing processes, including verification and resolution of software system issues
- Review product and process alignment with project goals and industry standards by tracking internal team and supplier performance
