Requirements
Must:
- Over 5 years of experience in software architecture and development
- At least 3 years of experience in ServiceNow development, particularly with the core platform
- Proven track record of multiple implementations of ServiceNow modules within the past 2 years
- Familiarity with web technologies such as JavaScript, Ajax, HTML, AngularJS, and CSS
- Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies and engaging in the software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Preferred qualifications include CSA, CAD, and a minimum of 2 Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications along with 5 micro-certifications (or willingness to acquire them within 6 months of hiring)
Responsibilities
- Execute core configuration user stories with limited oversight
- Address user stories encompassing service catalog, catalog items/record producers, knowledge bases/articles, notifications, assignment rules using advanced work assignment, and Service Level Agreement (SLA) configurations and workflows
- Implement integrations using Integration Hub and appropriate Spokes
- Develop reports and dashboards as needed
- Conduct unit testing to confirm that user stories align with acceptance criteria
- Review peer developer user stories and provide constructive feedback
- Create technical documentation as necessary
- Manage, configure, and enhance ServiceNow applications, modules, and perform select system administration duties
- Mentor junior developers in best practices to implement required functionalities in collaboration with technical leads
- Take on additional responsibilities as assigned to continually meet performance expectations
