Requirements
Must:
- Certified Scrum Master credentials (e.g., PSM, CSM, CSP) and Kanban credentials (e.g., KSD, KSI, KPM)
- Extensive experience with Kanban and flow-based delivery in intricate environments
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and yield measurable delivery impact
- Experience in supporting multiple teams and coordinating at an enterprise level
- Recent experience (within the last 2 years) utilizing Azure DevOps (ADO) to enhance transparency and improvements
- Exceptional facilitation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Proficient in facilitation and coaching, particularly in navigating critical conversations for transparency, accountability, and effective resolution of issues
- Preferred: Advanced or scaled agile certifications
- Preferred: Capability to create and conduct team-oriented training sessions
- Preferred: Ability to act as a peer leader to fellow Scrum Masters
- Preferred: Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies (e.g., Automated Testing, User Stories, TDD, Continuous Integration, Testing, Pairing)
- 8+ years of experience as a Scrum Master (at least 5 years with Kanban teams) supporting multiple agile teams to deliver high-quality solutions
- Bachelors degree or equivalent practical experience
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor up to three agile teams utilizing Kanban and flow-based delivery methodologies
- Manage independently to evaluate delivery health, pinpoint systemic obstacles, and promote continuous enhancements
- Design, refine, and coach Kanban frameworks that bolster flow, transparency, and predictability
- Facilitate essential Kanban ceremonies including Replenishment, Daily Kanban, Delivery Planning, and Retrospectives
- Employ flow metrics (e.g., WIP, cycle time, throughput, aging work) to inform data-driven improvements
- Coordinate dependencies and ensure alignment across sprint-based, flow-based, and hybrid teams and projects using enterprise planning signals
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners and stakeholders to keep backlogs healthy and maintain delivery alignment
- Act as a peer mentor and advocate for agile and Kanban practices throughout the organization
