Senior Quality Engineer - QA and Testing

- Analyze quality metrics and trends to generate data-driven insights that promote continuous improvement initiatives. - Lead structured problem-solving processes, including Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA), 5-Whys, and countermeasure development. - Collaborate with tiered management and organized escalation processes to ensure timely visibility and resolution of critical issues. - Work closely with operators and manufacturing teams to communicate, confirm, and reinforce quality requirements. - Conduct Measurement System Analysis (MSA) to verify the capability, accuracy, and repeatability of measurements. - Lead containment efforts for quality issues to minimize production disruptions and ensure safe product release. - Facilitate and engage in preliminary reviews for Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs). - Assist in the development and upkeep of inspection plans, control plans, and quality assurance procedures. - Conduct internal process audits and respond to Corrective Action Requests (CARs). - Review technical documents and contractual quality requirements to ensure compliance with engineering standards. - Contribute to processes for counterfeit part control and assist in defining appropriate risk mitigation strategies. - Lead or support Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) activities to identify and alleviate risks. - Apply Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) principles to ensure design intent and manufacturability are verified. - Manage work packages and aid in creating the Basis of Estimate (BOE) to accurately define project scope. - Advocate for ROI-driven quality enhancements that improve product integrity and operational efficiency.
