Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in computer science, statistics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Over 5 years of relevant experience in data management disciplines, including data integration, modeling, optimization, and data quality
- More than 5 years of experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders on data management and analytics initiatives
- Experience with data preparation tools and database programming languages
- Familiarity with building modular and reusable ETL frameworks with emphasis on scalability
- Proficient in data engineering tools such as AWS Glue, Lambda, and Athena
- Strong knowledge of BI software tools like QuickSight and Tableau
- Experience with workflow orchestration tools, particularly Apache Airflow
- Hands-on experience with data testing
- Knowledge of Agile methodology practices
- Expertise in designing, building, and managing data pipelines
- Proficiency in DevOps practices such as version control and automated testing
- Ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Capability to work autonomously and within teams, managing multiple tasks while adhering to tight deadlines
- Strategic thinker with a strong focus on outcomes
- Professional demeanor and ability to build relationships across different functions
- Eagerness to learn new technologies on the job
- A background in financial services is preferred, or an interest in pursuing it.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain data pipelines
- Collaborate with the data ops team to refine data quality requirements
- Develop processes using AWS Glue and Airflow
- Clearly communicate complex analytical results to diverse audiences
- Work effectively within teams and independently on various projects while adhering to tight deadlines

- Mentor junior programmers/analysts
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
