Senior Platform Engineer, Cloud & DevOps

- Oversee the development and management of scoping and requirements definition, ensuring traceability to the origin - Construct, configure, and personalize enterprise platform applications, modules, and workflows, including core service processes like Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Request - Execute integrations with external systems utilizing REST, SOAP, and API-based technologies - Design, develop, and enhance platform-level logic and automation through scripting, event-driven code, and workflow execution routines to enforce business rules and manage data operations - Evaluate system performance issues, implement corrective actions, and oversee system upgrades - Stay informed about platform releases, new features, and industry best practices in enterprise application ecosystems - Create and implement test plans and cases; establish scalable and reliable automated testing frameworks - Define acceptance criteria for functional and non-functional requirements, business processes, features, user stories, and business rules - Assess user experiences of systems, products, services, or devices, ensuring security, usability, and accessibility standards are met - Develop, configure, and maintain tools for tracking, logging, and ensuring current system information; maintain relevant operational documentation - Manage application support processes using application management software to diagnose incidents, prioritize issues, collect performance data, and generate reports - Define, document, and execute small projects or sub-projects, possibly taking on a product owner role for low-value products or services - Organize and conduct quality and safety assessments, identifying opportunities for improvement and documenting safety hazards - Monitor and report on supplier performance, customer satisfaction, compliance with security requirements, and market intelligence - Commit to ongoing personal development in software engineering practices, emerging trends, and technologies - Implement and oversee access controls, roles, permissions, and authentication methods to maintain secure system operation - Offer technical guidance to project teams and mentor junior staff to encourage skill development
