Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 5 years in software development.
- Proficient in SSIS package creation and maintenance.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL Server, including complex queries and stored procedures, along with performance optimization skills.
- Experience in constructing and managing SQL-based batch processes.
- Familiarity with .NET and C# for backend or batch processing tasks.
- Proven track record of supporting scheduled and automated processes in production settings.
- Skills in diagnosing batch failures and resolving data discrepancies.
Responsibilities
- Create, refine, and support SQL batch jobs utilizing SSIS.
- Construct and sustain ETL and data transfer pipelines.
- Enhance SQL queries and stored procedures to achieve optimal performance and dependability.
- Monitor batch execution and address issues as they arise.
- Conduct root cause analysis for data failures or job errors in live environments.
- Clearly document SSIS packages, batch processes, and data workflows.
- Work collaboratively with quality assurance, production support, and engineering teams.
Description
We are a dynamic organization based in Austin, TX, currently seeking a Senior .NET/SSIS Developer for a hybrid role that includes 4 days a week on-site. This position is a 12-month contract with potential for extension. In this hands-on role, you will be instrumental in supporting and improving vital data pipelines and scheduled jobs. We emphasize immediate, impactful contributions with a focus on execution, system stability, and operational effectiveness to ensure smooth data handling.
