Senior Firmware Engineer

- Collaborate with team members to define product and firmware requirements - Design, develop, and optimize firmware solutions for wireless applications - Study and apply Bluetooth Core standards from the Bluetooth SIG - Create firmware for BLE and NFMI radio systems - Troubleshoot and resolve issues in the wireless subsystem - Conduct functionality validation of firmware using manual and automated testing methods - Design and document comprehensive test plans to ensure adequate test coverage - Develop unit tests, semi-automated tests, and automated test suites - Maintain and implement automated testing processes using languages like Python or C - Investigate and promptly address test failures and integration issues - Innovate and enhance existing testing methodologies - Uphold and improve established workflows for development and testing - Follow best practices for code reviews, documentation, and coding conventions - Pinpoint process inefficiencies and propose enhancements to boost team performance - Initiate and guide new processes aimed at increasing engineering productivity - Mentor team members to foster both technical and professional development - Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions and create documentation for team benefit - Lead project planning efforts, including defining scope and estimating work - Assume roles such as Product Owner or Scrum Master in Agile environments as required - Proactively collaborate with cross-functional teams on project activities - Undertake additional duties as assigned
