Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
- Bachelors degree or equivalent expertise
- Proficiency in Selenium Java with hands-on experience
- Comprehensive experience with modern scripting language components
- Ability to write advanced SQL queries
- Familiarity with JIRA, Microfocus ALM, Bitbucket, Git, and Jenkins
- Experience in Agile and Waterfall methodologies, including onsite/offshore coordination
- Thorough understanding of the software implementation lifecycle, particularly testing models and processes
- Competency in both front-end and back-end testing utilizing Java and Selenium
- Strong grasp of various testing methodologies, including smoke testing, black-box testing, non-black box testing, and regression testing
- Excellent collaboration skills with both business clients and technical teams, with a capacity to work independently and as part of a group
- Experience in the Capital Markets domain is preferred
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test cases based on user stories; document outcomes and monitor defects to resolution
- Maintain and execute automated test scripts
- Ensure traceability from business requirements through to test cases and automated scripts
- Review test cases and automation strategies with stakeholders for comprehensive coverage and gather feedback
- Track test execution progress and report issues and risks that may impact project timelines
- Create appropriate end-to-end business scenarios by applying a broad understanding of business objectives and goals
- Collaborate with delivery pipeline teams to promote adoption and address unresolved issues
- Identify dependencies related to environmental and data requirements, managing and maintaining them
- Mentor colleagues on test coverage and case development
- Develop a deep understanding of the product being delivered
- Ensure process compliance and maintain relevant documentation
- Integrate risk and control measures into daily responsibilities to manage and mitigate risk, raising issues when necessary
Description
We are located in Tampa, FL, and are dedicated to supporting the development and testing demands of multiple core business lines, including FICC, Clearing & Settlement, and Wealth Management. Our IT & Risk departments are looking for a Lead Test Engineer who will take the reins of Test Engineering teams, creating and implementing test plans, developing automation scripts, and ensuring the maintenance of test procedures. We offer competitive hourly pay ranging from $50.00 to $60.00 and provide an opportunity to grow within a dynamic environment.
