Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field
- Over 5 years of experience in data analysis, design, development, and delivery
- Strong expertise in SQL, ETL/ELT, cloud data warehouses, and data management tools
- Familiarity with data engineering best practices and integration methodologies
- At least 2 years of experience in DevOps and CI/CD
- A minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience with Git and Python
- Proven ability to work within Agile teams, demonstrating strong communication and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with architects, analysts, engineers, and stakeholders to comprehend requirements and provide secure, high-quality data solutions
- Design and construct scalable data pipelines for both batch and streaming ingestion utilizing cloud technologies
- Create low-level design artifacts, including data mappings
- Execute data transformations, testing, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployments
- Engage in code reviews while ensuring adherence to engineering standards and best practices
- Deploy, monitor, and maintain production systems using Agile methodologies

In this role, you will support Pacific Lifes data initiatives by delivering modern, scalable data solutions within our technology organization. You will work collaboratively with a diverse team of data engineers, analysts, architects, scrum masters, and professionals focusing on Data, AI, Governance, and QA.
