Requirements
Must:
- Proven expertise in developing, reviewing, and maintaining comprehensive data platform requirements.
- Exceptional communication abilities with the skill to articulate and present solutions to business users, technical teams, and vendors.
- Experience handling sensitive healthcare data, along with a solid understanding of HIPAA and data privacy regulations.
- In-depth knowledge of enterprise data warehouses and data management solutions.
- Strong capabilities in data analytics and data profiling.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL querying.
- Familiarity with AWS cloud services and cloud-based databases such as Snowflake.
- Working knowledge of at least one Business Intelligence tool (e.g., Tableau and/or Cognos).
- Ability to lead and contribute to presentations of analysis results for varied stakeholder groups.
Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, and document detailed functional, technical, and business requirements for data platform projects of various complexities.
- Create clear and effective business and technical documentation to support both development teams and end users.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements and solicit feedback throughout project lifecycles.
- Contribute to project plans consistent with established PMO standards and methodologies.
- Communicate important milestones, delivery schedules, and dependencies based on resource availability and project prioritization.
- Ensure timely delivery of solutions that align with defined business and technical requirements.
- Investigate, design, and implement new data solutions, plus significant upgrades or enhancements to current platforms.
- Conduct and support complex data analyses, translating business requirements into enterprise data warehouse and business intelligence solutions.
- Lead and engage in requirements and solution review sessions linked to data platform implementations.
- Collaborate with Architects, Developers, Project Managers, and Analysts to present requirements and define use cases.
- Convert business necessities into precise technical specifications for development teams.
- Lead and assist in delivering presentations of requirements and analysis outcomes to management, technical teams, and business stakeholders.
- Support data training efforts to ensure that end users have a comprehensive understanding of data warehouses, BI platforms, and reporting solutions.
- Mentor and cross-train peers in subject matter and technical expertise areas.
