Requirements
Must:
- Over 5 years of experience working as a Software Engineer
- At least 2 years of practical programming experience
- Proficient in Linux/UNIX operating systems
- Strong command in:
- Java, Python, C, JCLs
- Shell Scripting, PowerShell
- Experience with Oracle databases
- Familiarity with tools such as MicroFocus and Eclipse
- Bilingual Spanish/English proficiency is a plus
Responsibilities
- Analyze business and technical requirements for key banking projects and design optimized technical solutions
- Develop high-quality processes and programs based on technical specifications
- Conduct unit testing adhering to best practices and proactively address defects
- Plan, design, and execute tests to guarantee end-to-end quality of deliverables
- Analyze and document test results, reporting issues, and collaborating with the team on solutions
- Complete all necessary program documentation and review test outcomes with project teams
- Prepare and submit change management documentation for production deployment
- Engage in post-implementation activities, ensuring a successful rollout and effective information delivery
- Iterate on solutions according to project requirements to guarantee timely delivery of outputs
Description
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to be part of a significant banking project in Quincy, MA. This hybrid position involves three days a week on-site and is structured as a 3-month contract with the possibility of extension. In this role, you will contribute to end-to-end design, development, and delivery of high-impact systems.
