Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in a related field
- Minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible experience in technical and business roles developing enterprise-level applications, including at least 5 years of full-stack Salesforce.com development
- Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce Data Model across multiple clouds/products with robust data modeling experience
- Proven track record in architecting successful large-scale Salesforce implementations involving various clouds such as Sales, Service, and Financial Services
- Strategic thinker with a comprehensive vision for organizational growth and direction
- Proficient in managing governance discussions at both the executive and design levels to align business needs with platform sustainability and scalability
Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and design efforts for implementing solutions by conceptualizing the technical vision
- Develop and maintain communication of the platform architectural roadmap, including interim states as required
- Oversee and ensure adherence to architectural trends and best practices within the application domain through design reviews as a key member of the COEs Architecture Review Board
- Conduct evaluations of products and solutions, including Salesforce capabilities and third-party vendor offerings, by creating prototypes and proof of concepts to clarify and design for business objectives
- Design, document, and establish development patterns and best practices for COE technical delivery teams
- Provide mentorship to technical delivery staff

We are the Salesforce Center of Excellence (COE) located in Whitehall, OH, seeking a Salesforce.com Platform Architect with extensive experience in various Salesforce products, including Sales & Service, Marketing, Financial Services Clouds, and MuleSoft. This role involves offering technical leadership to internal and external partners while working closely with the Chief Architect. Our team values communication, and we support our staffs growth through mentorship and best practice development.
