Requirements
Must:
- Over 6 years of experience in application operations, site reliability, or cloud infrastructure engineering within AWS.
- More than 5 years of practical experience with AWS services such as EKS, EC2, VPC, and CloudWatch.
- At least 4 years of experience using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools including Splunk, Dynatrace, and CloudWatch, along with management of TLS certificates/OpenSSL.
- A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Bonus: Experience with CI/CD tools such as AWS CodePipeline, Azure DevOps, or GitLab.
- Bonus: Proficiency in Linux administration and scripting (Bash), as well as experience with Nginx/Apache.
- Bonus: Good understanding of networking/routing and collaboration with vendors for production support.
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on support for production environments including installation, upgrades, patches, configuration, security, and releases.
- Manage and optimize Amazon EKS clusters and containerized workloads, including scaling and troubleshooting issues.
- Develop automation for CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, deployments, and monitoring tasks.
- Maintain and enhance Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform or CloudFormation to optimize cloud provisioning processes.
- Act as a technical lead during incidents, swiftly diagnosing and resolving issues while proposing enhancements.
- Drive capacity planning, performance tuning, and infrastructure stabilization using KPIs integrated into monitoring systems.

We are seeking a Senior AWS/EKS Engineer to enhance our cloud infrastructure and digital/mobile applications at our Berkeley Heights, NJ location. This is a full-time, onsite role where you will work closely with engineering, product, and support teams to automate deployments and ensure the reliability and performance of our platforms. We offer a competitive salary range of $140,000 to $160,000 annually and a collaborative work environment that fosters professional growth.
