Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in DevSecOps engineering focused on cloud environments (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure) with a strong emphasis on security programs.
- Experience in cloud-native development and architecture utilizing services and tools specific to AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and Azure.
- Strong proficiency in Python and Terraform for testing, automation, and custom tool development.
- In-depth knowledge of software testing methodologies and associated tools.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and best practices.
- Practical experience using Open Policy Agent (OPA) for policy enforcement.
- Background in detection engineering: implementing detection-as-code practices and maintaining detection rules.
- Proficiency in SIEM query languages such as Splunk SPL and YARA rules.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement security controls tailored for cloud environments to support organizational security objectives.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security practices into the software development lifecycle.
- Create automation scripts using Python and Terraform to streamline security processes and enhance efficiency.
- Conduct thorough testing of security measures and software to ensure optimal performance and compliance.
- Develop and enforce policies using Open Policy Agent (OPA) to support governance requirements.
- Create and refine detection rules for security incidents, maintaining close collaboration with the detection engineering team.
- Utilize SIEM tools to analyze security events and anomalies, providing insights and recommendations for remediation.
