Requirements
Must:
- Four-year college/university degree
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in designing, building, and managing security infrastructure or solutions
- Proven experience with multiple security domains, demonstrating a broad knowledge of security fundamentals
- Familiarity with security architecture reviews and security controls across IAM, Data Protection, Application Security, Network Security, and Security Analytics
- In-depth understanding of security domains, including risk documentation, evaluation of remediation options, and presentation to technical and executive audiences
- Ability to adapt and work flexibly within varying situations and with diverse teams
Responsibilities
- Conduct secure design reviews and implement security controls for both on-premise and cloud IT projects
- Collaborate with Domain Architects and Product Managers to establish security requirements and secure deployment methods
- Define architecture for development teams, offer solutions to architectural challenges, and contribute to best practices and templates for security domains
- Evaluate projects based on risk and compliance with security policies, standards, and best practices to provide sign-off
- Partner with business and technology teams to comprehend business and threat dynamics in order to develop applicable security measures
- Perform design evaluations to ensure compliance with non-functional requirements such as security, performance, and scalability
Description
We are looking for a highly skilled and knowledgeable Security Design Architect/Expert to join our Cybersecurity Services team in Southlake, TX (Hybrid). This is a 12+ month contract position with potential for hire or extension. As part of our centralized Center of Excellence, you will be instrumental in enhancing our companys security posture and safeguarding critical assets. You will play a vital role in shaping our security strategy and architecture, working collaboratively to ensure all decisions are aligned with our organizational integrity.
