Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 6+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce development and administration
- 2+ years of experience in a technical lead or team leadership role
- Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, SOQL, SOSL, LWC, JavaScript
- Strong understanding of Salesforce Public Sector Cloud
- Familiarity with Salesforce clouds: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud
- Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and middleware (e.g., MuleSoft)
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps
- Solid skills in data modeling and solution design
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
- Demonstrated leadership and mentoring experience
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I & II (preferred)
- Salesforce Certified Application Architect or System Architect (preferred)
- Experience in public sector implementations (preferred)
- Expertise in business solutioning and data modeling (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Design scalable, secure, and high-performance Salesforce solutions that meet both business and technical needs
- Oversee end-to-end development processes including configuration, customization, and integration efforts
- Enforce best practices, coding standards, and architectural guidelines for Salesforce
- Lead and mentor a team of Salesforce developers to ensure high-quality delivery
- Conduct thorough code reviews and provide ongoing technical mentorship throughout the development lifecycle
- Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and cross-functional teams for successful project execution
- Build and maintain integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and Salesforce Connect
- Develop custom features leveraging Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and related technologies
- Monitor system performance, security, and data integrity on an ongoing basis
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues swiftly and effectively
- Manage deployment processes and version control using Git, Azure DevOps, or similar tools
- Engage with stakeholders to effectively translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Provide clear updates on project status, associated risks, and technical considerations
- Deliver training, workshops, and enablement sessions for end-users and technical teams
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, configuration guides, and test plans
- Ensure adherence to Salesforce licensing, data privacy, and security protocols
- Stay updated on Salesforce releases, new features, and industry trends to drive continuous improvement
- Identify opportunities for optimizing and enhancing existing solutions
