Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Proficient in Terraform, GitHub, Docker, and relevant IaC/tooling ecosystems
- Advanced scripting abilities with Bash, PowerShell, Python, or Ansible
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes, containerization, and cloud-native architectures
- Track record of minimizing toil through automation and engineering methodologies
- Familiarity with SCM tools like Git, GitHub, and code quality assessment tools like SonarQube
- Basic knowledge of ITSM principles and operational processes
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities with a proactive approach
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and sustain reliable, scalable, and secure systems on Google Cloud Platform
- Define and implement Service Level Indicators (SLIs), Service Level Objectives (SLOs), Error Budgets, and Critical User Journeys (CUJs) based on non-functional requirements
- Build and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) utilizing Terraform, GitHub, and containerized solutions
- Automate processes, tools, and workflows to reduce manual tasks and operational strain
- Implement and support Kubernetes-based container orchestration
- Create and uphold reliable CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks
- Enhance operational excellence via proactive monitoring, alerting, and observability
- Collaborate with development and platform teams to boost reliability, performance, and service health
- Engage in continuous improvement of engineering methodologies, encompassing code reviews and documentation
- Adhere to ITSM procedures for stable and compliant operations
Description

Our position offers a competitive salary ranging from $140,000 to $145,000 annually, with the possibility of working on-site in locations such as Jacksonville, FL; Cary, NC; or New York, NY.
