Requirements
Must:
- 7+ years of experience in software testing or Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) roles.
- Bachelors degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Selenium with Java and SQL.
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, Git, and test management tools like JIRA, Microfocus ALM.
- Knowledge of ETL testing automation tools like Talend, Informatica, or DataStage.
- Experience conducting front-end and back-end testing with Java and Selenium.
- Familiarity with Snowflake, AWS S3, and modern scripting languages.
- Strong grasp of Agile and Waterfall methodologies, as well as global delivery models.
- Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.
- Preferably experience in Capital Markets or Risk domain.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute automated tests to ensure software quality.
- Collaborate with development and business teams to understand requirements and devise appropriate test strategies.
- Utilize CI/CD tools to integrate automated testing into the pipeline.
- Conduct ETL testing automation and validate data integrity and transformation processes.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning and retrospective meetings.
- Continuously enhance testing frameworks to improve efficiency and coverage.
- Document test results and report defects to facilitate continuous improvement processes.
- Provide mentorship and support to junior team members in testing practices.
Description

This is a hybrid position on a contract basis for 6+ months with potential for conversion to full-time.
