Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related discipline.
- Over 3 years of experience in quality engineering, particularly in incoming inspection within a manufacturing setting.
- Strong grasp of quality control techniques and tools (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO standards).
- Skilled in utilizing measurement instruments and equipment (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strong focus on detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and quality management software.
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed inspections of incoming materials and components to ensure adherence to specifications and quality standards.
- Maintain precise documentation of inspection outcomes, including reports on non-conformance and corrective measures taken.
- Collaborate closely with suppliers and internal teams to address quality concerns and enhance the quality of incoming materials.
- Develop and execute quality assurance procedures and guidelines specific to incoming inspection processes.
- Analyze inspection data and trends to pinpoint opportunities for improvement and aid in decision-making.
- Provide training and support to team members on quality standards, inspection techniques, and best practices.
- Engage in continuous improvement projects aimed at enhancing product quality and operational effectiveness.
- Assist with both internal and external audits related to incoming inspection and quality control procedures.
