Requirements
Must:
- Proficient in crafting test cases from specifications beyond just UI dynamics.
- Skilled in analyzing data flows, state transitions, business logic, and failure modes.
- Strong debugging capabilities and adept at issue-triage, including log analysis and response validation.
- Excellent communication skills, able to articulate reasons for failures clearly.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Comfortable working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and SDETs.
- Recognizes quality as a collective responsibility throughout the development process.
- Familiarity with TestRail for test management.
- Competence in using Azure Boards for work tracking.
- Experience with functional, regression, exploratory, and integration testing types.
- (Nice to have) Experience in API testing.
- (Nice to have) Basic knowledge of test automation tools and concepts, such as Playwright, API automation, and CI pipelines.
- (Nice to have) Background in testing SaaS platforms, security products, or complex configuration systems.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and implement clear and structured test cases based on product specifications and technical guidelines.
- Translate product functionalities into comprehensive test scenarios, covering positive, negative, and edge cases.
- Validate intricate workflows specific to cybersecurity SaaS platforms, including scans, reports, configurations, permissions, and multi-user interactions.
- Reproduce defects reliably and investigate root causes.
- Analyze logs, assess system reactions, and pinpoint failure locations.
- Deliver clear, actionable feedback to development teams to enhance product quality.
- Collaborate closely with SDETs, developers, and product managers to guarantee quality is embedded across the software development lifecycle.
- Contribute structured feedback to the test automation strategy, although hands-on automation is not required.
- Engage in grooming, refinement, and release planning meetings.
- Keep accurate and current test documentation within TestRail.
- Manage the tracking of test tasks, defects, and quality risks using Azure Boards.
- Ensure proper linking of test cases, results, and defects to specific requirements and project releases.
Description
