Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
- 4-7 years of experience in application development, support, or a similar role
- Proficient in Java (Spring Boot preferred)
- Experience with SQL and relational database management
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Capacity to work directly with end users to identify issues and provide solutions
Responsibilities
- Provide support, maintenance, and enhancement for a portfolio of operational applications, including:
- Custom Java / Spring Boot integrations (high priority)
- GeoNexus Integration Platform
- IBM Maximo (Enterprise Asset Management)
- Telog and GraniteNet
- Diagnose and resolve application issues collaboratively with end users and IT teams
- Design, develop, and maintain system integrations, including APIs, data interfaces, and workflows
- Apply application configuration changes and minor enhancements
- Engage in application upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities
- Generate and update technical documentation, including system flows and support procedures
- Create and execute test plans for fixes and enhancements
- Work alongside business analysts and stakeholders to define and clarify requirements
- Adhere to established ITIL-based incident, problem, and change management processes
Description
We are excited to welcome a Programmer Analyst - Application Administrator to our team in St. Louis, MO. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of working 3 days onsite and 2 days remotely each week. The position is set for a contract duration from April 2026 to October 2026, with a strong potential for extension. You will be joining our IT - Business Technology department, working closely with our IT Program Manager - Business Operations. We are dedicated to fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing to ensure long-term sustainability and support for our critical applications.
