Requirements

- Industry work or consulting experience
- Formal training or education
- Military experience
Responsibilities
- Consult on complex, large-scale Infrastructure Engineering projects with significant organizational impact.
- Analyze and solve intricate, long-term infrastructure issues, incorporating technical, operational, and compliance factors.
- Support the administration and operational stability of the Power BI platform, including Service, Gateways, Desktop, and Report Server.
- Ensure the continuity of legacy SSRS and paginated reporting services, including planning for migration when necessary.
- Administer Microsoft Fabric workspaces and capacities in accordance with enterprise governance standards.
- Facilitate governance-aligned usage of OneLake, ensuring access awareness, shortcut utilization, and auditing fundamentals.
- Implement approved infrastructure and platform modifications while maintaining service availability and compliance.
- Coordinate activities and initiatives across infrastructure, analytics, and reporting teams.
- Conduct operational troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and resolve issues effectively.
- Create and uphold enterprise documentation and configuration standards.
- Communicate efficiently with client personnel and stakeholders to align on deliverables and expectations.
Description
We are seeking an Infrastructure Engineering Consultant for a contingent role in Charlotte, NC. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the ongoing operation and stabilization of enterprise analytics platforms within a regulated environment. Our focus is on operational continuity and platform administration, particularly emphasizing Power BI, legacy SSRS, and Microsoft Fabric administration. This role offers an opportunity to collaborate strategically across teams, and we offer competitive hourly pay ranging from $69.00 to $74.00.
