Requirements
Must:
- 7+ years of overall IT experience
- 5+ years of hands-on AWS experience
- 5+ years of PostgreSQL administration in cloud settings
- Strong expertise in Terraform and cloud automation
Responsibilities
- Administer, manage, and enhance PostgreSQL databases across various platforms including Amazon RDS and Aurora PostgreSQL
- Conduct advanced performance tuning including query plan analysis and index optimization
- Design, implement, and uphold High Availability solutions such as Multi-AZ deployments
- Own backup and recovery strategies and automated backups
- Plan and execute PostgreSQL version upgrades and patch management
- Perform proactive capacity planning for storage and throughput
- Provision and manage database infrastructure using Terraform
- Provide robust production support and rapid incident response
