Requirements
Must:
- Strong hands-on experience with Pega development
- Proficiency in SQL / PL-SQL
- Over 5 years of software engineering experience
- Solid grasp of contemporary SDLC methodologies
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts
- Proven ability to develop, debug, and maintain code in a corporate environment
- Expertise in Pega design techniques, rule creation, integrations, and UI components
- Good understanding of database querying and PL/SQL
- Working knowledge of SDLC tools and practices
- Knowledge of the Smart Investigate framework (preferred)
- Experience with cloud-based development, application resiliency, and security best practices (preferred)
- Familiarity with modern programming languages (preferred)
- Strong understanding of Agile frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement robust and secure software solutions using Pega and associated technologies
- Conduct technical troubleshooting and address issues considering system impact both upstream and downstream
- Write clean and maintainable code in at least one programming language
- Utilize SDLC tools and automation techniques to enhance development efficiency and stability
- Engage in the complete software development lifecycle, encompassing analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance
- Ensure compliance with engineering best practices, code quality standards, and security protocols
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in an Agile setting
- Support initiatives for continuous integration, continuous delivery, and test-driven development
