Requirements
Must:
- 3-5 years of experience in the telecommunications, data networking, or wireless industry.
- Knowledge of Outside Plant (OSP) engineering design principles and standards.
- Familiarity with fiber-to-the-premises (FTTP) facilities.
- Ability to independently conduct OSP telecommunications facility surveys.
- Proficiency in computer applications including Word, Excel, Visio, ArcGIS/ESRI, 3GIS, and Google Earth.
- Understanding of local practices and the network plant.
- Experience with engineering systems and databases.
- Awareness of right-of-way, property rights, and permit acquisition regulations.
- Knowledge of IDDS drafting systems is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Conduct field surveys at customer locations and assess the surrounding network to devise local design solutions for service delivery.
- Identify relevant Outside Plant Fiber Optic Network elements near customer sites and plan delivery methods to their premises.
- Collaborate with various teams and maintain direct communication with both business and residential clients.
- Engage in outdoor work as well as indoor tasks on customer properties.
- Plan and design enhancements, upgrades, repairs, and additions as needed.
- Select and price solutions based on efficiency, effectiveness, and timely execution.
- Coordinate with internal teams and communicate with residential and business end-users, contractors, and property owners to implement solutions successfully.

Description
We are seeking an OSP Engineer to join our team in Milford, DE. In this role, you will play a vital part in our clients Fios Open for Sale program and facilitate customer circuit delivery. You will work across various teams and directly interact with customers, ensuring a smooth delivery of services.
