Network Engineer - II (Routing & Switching)

- Provide support in the design, development, implementation, and analysis of technical products and systems - Execute testing and diagnostic procedures on equipment in line with published standards - Utilize test, measurement, and diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and restore digital services - Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures for effective workflow results - Monitor vendor activities and perform remote surveillance of other teleports as needed - Track the network for anomalies and resolve customer issues per established processes - Maintain service levels and take necessary actions to ensure compliance - Assist in the assembly, installation, configuration, and testing of satellite and networking equipment - Coordinate service testing and activation with relevant stakeholders - Cultivate relationships with government, international, and domestic clients to ensure high service quality - Oversee site operations with minimal oversight during eight-hour shifts - Handle commissioning of VSAT terminals for I-Direct and Newtec networks - Manage multiple VSAT hubs providing essential services to various customers - Initiate emergency restoration actions following power outages - Monitor earth station and terrestrial systems for optimal function - Foster effective collaboration with internal and external departments for timely task completion - Commit to flexible shifts, including 24x7 coverage and on-call duties as business needs arise - Perform additional tasks as assigned
