Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in mobile technology leadership
- Strong background in hybrid mobile development with Ionic and Capacitor
- Proficiency in native mobile development using Swift (iOS) and Kotlin/Java (Android)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Bitrise, Azure DevOps)
- In-depth knowledge of mobile security standards including OWASP Mobile Top 10
- Experience with authentication protocols such as OAuth2 and OpenID Connect
- Understanding of mobile app lifecycle management and release processes
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience mentoring and guiding a team of developers
Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and development of hybrid mobile applications using Ionic and Capacitor along with native Swift components
- Establish coding standards and architectural best practices for mobile development
- Make technical decisions focusing on performance, security, scalability, and maintainability
- Provide mentorship and guidance to mobile developers working on both hybrid and native platforms
- Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, Product Owners, Backend teams, and DevOps regarding mobile solutions
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release management processes
- Ensure high-quality application releases through automated testing and CI/CD workflows
- Implement and uphold mobile security practices including encryption and secure authentication schemes
- Monitor the performance of production applications and address any issues that arise throughout the app lifecycle
