Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 1 year of education or practical experience in Non-Destructive Inspection (NDI) or Non-Destructive Testing (NDT)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Willingness to work varying shifts, including overtime and occasional weekends if needed
- Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
- Capable of working in confined spaces
- Preferred: 3+ years of relevant work experience or a combination of education and experience
- Preferred: 800 hours of Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
- Preferred: 300 hours of Ultrasonic Shear-Wave Testing
- Preferred: 800 hours of Eddy Current Testing (ET)
- Preferred: Experience with CAD Software
- Preferred: Background in writing UT & ET techniques and inspection procedures
Responsibilities
- Authoring Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) procedures
- Integrating revisions from the Level III responsible for NDT methods into standard procedure reviews
- Creating Computer Assisted Drawings (CAD) for specialized calibration standards
- Setting up non-destructive testing or measurement equipment to meet calibration standards
- Generating procedure figures detailing inspection locations, geometry, accessibility, and probe/transducer placement
- Reporting any potential adverse trends or unusual results observed during testing
Description
We are seeking Non-Destructive Test (NDT) Specialists to join our In-Service NDT team based in Tukwila, WA, on the first shift. This role offers an hourly wage ranging from $42.00 to $47.00 USD.
