Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with F5 LTM and GTM
- At least 1 year of experience with F5 APM and ASM
- 1 year or more of AVI/VMware experience, CCNP, F5 201, or equivalent
- Proficient in troubleshooting advanced networking issues in complex environments
- Knowledge of common protocols including BGP, HTTPS, TCP/IP, and SSL
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Expertise in load balancers, DNS, and SSL offload
- Understanding of F5s API iControl and application integration
- Knowledge of application switching, traffic management, and SSL certificate implementation
- Familiarity with SSL Certificate Private Key Infrastructure
- Experience in planning and implementing enterprise-level network security
- Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience managing large, globally dispersed engineering teams
- 5-7+ years of network engineering or technology management experience
- Ability to interact with clients at all levels
Responsibilities
- Oversee the complete lifecycle and delivery of Application Delivery infrastructure
- Design solutions following industry best practices and security standards
- Ensure that security controls are implemented and functioning effectively
- Manage the lifecycle including code upgrades and vulnerability patching
- Develop comprehensive implementation plans and runbooks for execution teams
- Handle a diverse range of technology infrastructure and business-aligned projects
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams for new services rollout
- Conduct design validation and quality assurance testing for production readiness
- Maintain compliance with KPI standards to meet service level agreements
- Minimize change-related incidents through peer review processes
- Prepare metrics reports and present findings to senior leadership teams
