Lead Programmer Analyst

- Design, build, test, deploy, and support intricate Workday integrations utilizing Studio, Orchestrate, EIB, Core/Cloud Connectors, and REST/SOAP APIs - Create and uphold custom solutions using Workday Extend, involving hands-on coding, orchestration logic, and API-driven integrations - Develop and manage inbound and outbound integrations between Workday Financials and external systems (ERP, procurement platforms, expense systems, banking, etc.) - Execute data transformations using XML, JSON, XSLT, and Workday calculated fields - Diagnose and resolve complex technical challenges across development, testing, and production environments - Provide technical engineering assistance throughout Workday Financial Management, including General Ledger (GL), Expense, and Source to Pay (S2P) - Ensure integrations and Extend solutions correspond with Finance transaction flows, accounting structures, and data models - Support API-based financial transactions and postings into GL - Collaborate with Finance IT and other technical stakeholders within a larger Finance organization - Serve as a technical lead and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Workday Financials integrations and Extend development - Direct technical solution design while remaining actively involved - Review code and integrations, mentoring and guiding fellow engineers - Work with architects, project managers, and functional partners without taking on solely architectural or functional roles - Actively seek opportunities for automation, performance improvement, and integration stability - Assist in the full development lifecycle: technical design, construction, testing, deployment, and production support - Maintain technical documentation, data mappings, and integration specifications - Keep abreast of Workday releases, especially enhancements related to Financials, Extend, APIs, and Orchestrate
