Requirements
Must:
- Over 10 years of practical experience in data modeling for enterprise data platforms.
- Extensive knowledge of ERwin Data Modeler.
- Demonstrated ability to create models for operational systems, data warehouses, and analytics frameworks.
- Strong grasp of relational database principles, normalization techniques, and dimensional modeling.
- Capable of converting business needs into scalable and sustainable data designs.
- Excellent communication skills and proven experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Assess organizational data needs and design models that aid core business operations and strategic decision-making.
- Create and update conceptual, logical, and physical data models for relational databases, data warehouses, and analytics systems.
- Work in tandem with business stakeholders, architects, and engineering teams to gather requirements and validate data models with business objectives.
- Establish, implement, and uphold data modeling standards, best practices, and governance protocols.
- Safeguard data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across various systems and subjects.
- Enhance database and warehouse performance through effective data design strategies.
- Perform data profiling, analysis, and troubleshooting to spot trends, anomalies, and inefficiencies.
- Produce and maintain detailed documentation, including entity-relationship diagrams, data definitions, and metadata.
