Requirements
Must:
- Extensive experience (10+ years) in software development
- Proficiency in Kafka, Terraform, Ansible, Python, and Linux
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace and AppDynamics
- Capability to capture business needs and collaborate with engineering and operations teams
- Hands-on experience in developing and troubleshooting automation programs
- Understanding of IT security standards and risk management
- Strong skills in using Ansible Playbook and Ansible Tower
- Basic knowledge of Linux/UNIX shell scripting
- Experience in managing large-scale deployments in public and private cloud environments
- Familiarity with messaging software like MQ/IIB, Tibco, and Java/J2EE
Responsibilities
- Enhance existing automation programs and create new infrastructure automation for Confluent Kafka deployment
- Work collaboratively with application development and support teams to comprehend messaging protocols
- Document business requirements and devise actionable plans
- Develop testing automation and address troubleshooting during testing phases
- Analyze IT security standards and establish baseline security policies for complex projects
- Identify potential risks and recommend preventative measures
- Serve as a key contributor responsible for ensuring secure environments for business and technology factions
- Utilize technical and business insights to design risk-based security solutions
