Requirements
Must:
- At least 7 years of pertinent experience in IT environment management and application deployment.
- Strong practical knowledge with HCL technologies (e.g., VOLT/IRIS, Foundry).
- Experience in configuring environments and assessing application deployment pipelines.
- In-depth understanding of application architecture, integration points, and system dependencies.
- Competence in reviewing and interpreting application code for quality, structure, and consistency.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience with CI/CD tools or automated deployment frameworks is preferred.
- Prior consulting or contractor experience in environment modernization or technical remediation initiatives is preferred.
- Familiarity with best practices for application lifecycle management in enterprise settings is preferred.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, with a capacity to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and document existing application environments (dev/test/prod), including configurations, integrations, and dependencies.
- Assess deployment processes and suggest enhancements for improved efficiency, consistency, and reliability.
- Perform code reviews to discover defects, risks, technical debt, and optimization possibilities; implement upgrades as necessary.
- Resolve environment-related challenges, deployment failures, and configuration discrepancies.
- Facilitate structured knowledge transfer sessions with internal teams to ensure sustainable maintenance.
- Offer guidance on best practices for code stability, environment management, and deployment automation.
- Work closely with IT personnel, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to clarify needs and uncover enhancement opportunities.
- Create documentation summarizing findings, remediation methods, and improvement strategies.
