Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or a related field
- Over 10 years of experience in information security, with a minimum of 5 years dedicated to IAM
- At least 3 years in an enterprise-level architecture position focusing on IAM technologies and strategies
- Profound understanding of IAM domains including authentication and authorization, Single Sign-On (SSO), Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), Directory Services, Federation Services, and Privileged Access Management (PAM)
- Demonstrated capability to define IAM architecture and strategic roadmaps
- Strong expertise in aligning IAM strategies with organizational security policies and business goals
- Active cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or CISM are preferred
- Experience with Zero Trust and Just-In-Time (JIT) Access models is a plus
Responsibilities
- Establish architecture and strategies to securely oversee the identity lifecycle, including user authentication and authorization for both on-premises and cloud settings
- Define and keep updated the reference architecture documentation, technology standards, processes, and policies for core IAM solutions
- Efficiently integrate IAM solutions within existing enterprise infrastructure
- Offer technical leadership for infrastructure support, handle on-call escalations, and resolve complex implementation and system integration challenges
- Design and execute federation solutions utilizing ADFS and Ping Identity, with deep proficiency in SAML and OAuth/OIDC protocols
- Architect IAM solutions across Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and other cloud platforms
- Lead Proof of Concept (POC) projects and develop both tactical and strategic IAM solution roadmaps
- Collaborate with product vendors and internal governance teams to showcase and validate application solutions to stakeholders
- Provide guidance on Active Directory infrastructure deployments, emphasizing best practices, security architecture, vulnerability management, and resilience
Description
We are searching for an experienced Identity & Access Management (IAM) Architect to spearhead the design and execution of enterprise-scale IAM strategies in Southlake, TX, or Austin, TX. Our work environment is hybrid, allowing for 4 days in the office weekly. This role spans 18 months, with a chance for extension. We prioritize secure identity lifecycle management, with an emphasis on technical authority across authentication, authorization, and privileged access domains. Our team values innovation and collaboration, striving to align IAM efforts with core business objectives.
