Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field
- Over 10 years of experience in project management, preferably in IT
- Proven expertise as a Jira/Atlassian Administrator
- Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, and C#
- Strong knowledge of the Atlassian Suite, particularly Jira
- Familiarity with Snowflake and data engineering concepts
- Demonstrated ability in developing complex dashboards and reports
- Understanding of agile methodologies including Scrum and Kanban
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Certifications in Atlassian (e.g., ACP-JA, ACP-JSM) are favorable but not required
- Self-driven, independent, and able to work effectively in a team
Responsibilities
- Design and implement Jira workflows and business solutions
- Develop portfolio, program, and roadmap dashboards for leadership
- Automate existing manual processes currently performed in Excel or Google Sheets
- Generate real-time data insights for enhanced execution transparency
- Utilize Snowflake and data engineering principles to provide analytics
- Deliver predictive insights using data lakes and AI technologies
- Coach teams on best practices in Jira usage
- Configure and maintain JIRA instances, managing workflows, custom fields, permission schemes, and user roles
- Develop complex automation logic and transitions using scripting languages
- Create and manage dashboards, filters, and reports to offer stakeholders actionable insights
- Identify automation opportunities and communicate technical strategies to leadership
- Audit and optimize current workflows, implementing solutions to minimize manual errors
- Provide training and support to both technical and non-technical teams on JIRA and automation tools
Description
We are a dynamic organization located in Mountain View, CA, seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join our team. This role offers a competitive hourly rate of $80.00 - $85.00 and is expected to last for more than six months.
