IT Infrastructure & Security Engineer

- Oversee and sustain Windows Server and Linux systems within both on-premises and cloud settings - Administer VMware vSphere/ESXi platforms, covering provisioning, patching, performance oversight, and capacity planning - Manage Active Directory environments, involving user and group management, Group Policy configuration, DNS, DHCP, and domain activities - Oversee Microsoft Azure IaaS and PaaS resources, such as virtual machines, networking, storage, and identity services - Maintain Microsoft 365 operations, including Exchange Online and endpoint management through Intune - Handle enterprise backup and disaster recovery solutions, managing job configurations and testing - Facilitate disaster recovery replication and ensure business continuity across data centers - Support file, print, and application server infrastructure across various locations - Develop and enhance PowerShell scripts and automation processes to boost operational efficiency and reporting - Engage in infrastructure projects like server migrations and platform upgrades - Implement and uphold security policies concerning patch management and endpoint protection - Monitor and address security alerts from MDR and SIEM platforms while collaborating with managed SOC partners - Administer security tools encompassing EDR/XDR platforms and vulnerability scanners - Conduct vulnerability assessments and coordinate related remediation measures - Investigate security incidents, ensuring prompt response and recovery actions - Design security measures for hybrid cloud environments, focusing on identity protection - Act as a liaison with managed firewall, network, and MDR/SOC providers - Ensure compliance with security frameworks and participate in internal audits - Manage privileged access management solutions for secure access - Stay updated on emerging security threats and propose enhancements to security measures - Lead security awareness initiatives and advise users on best practices
