Requirements

Must:
- 1-2 years of help desk or technical support experience - Excellent customer service and communication abilities - Proficient in troubleshooting desktops, laptops, peripherals, and software issues - Familiarity with Microsoft environments, such as Microsoft 365 and Windows OS - Skilled in resolving password issues, access challenges, and VPN support - Capability to work independently and critically assess problems to find solutions - Experience with Azure Active Directory for user management and MFA is preferred - Knowledge of Active Directory tools for account management and group memberships is a plus - Familiarity with ticketing systems like ServiceNow, Zendesk, or Freshservice is an asset - Basic understanding of networking concepts including VPN, Wi-Fi connectivity, and IP addressing is beneficial

Responsibilities

- Act as the primary point of contact for help desk inquiries through phone, email, and ticketing platforms - Troubleshoot and resolve fundamental IT issues, such as password resets and VPN access problems - Record issues, solutions, and user interactions within the ticketing system - Escalate more complex issues to senior support teams as needed - Maintain professional and prompt communication with end-users - Research and identify solutions utilizing available documentation and support resources

We are looking for an enthusiastic Help Desk Consultant to join our team in St. Louis, MO. This hybrid position offers a competitive salary range of $17.00 to $20.00 per hour. In this role, you will be the first line of support for our end users, helping to deliver customer-centric technical assistance and resolving Tier 1 issues within a Microsoft environment.
