Requirements
Must:
- Experience with equipment and process validation
- Proficient in troubleshooting equipment
- Background in Manufacturing Engineering
- Ability to design and validate manufacturing processes for new locations
- Knowledge of specifying product functional requirements
- Skills in testing and integrating manufacturing processes and fixtures
- Capability to evaluate processes for effectiveness, cost, reliability, and safety
- Experience in developing and executing process validation plans
- Ability to create and review material part specifications and bills of materials
- Strong collaboration skills with internal manufacturing partners and contract manufacturers
- Proficient in CAD or CAE systems for modifying engineering drawings
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- University degree or extensive practical knowledge with at least 5 years of experience
Responsibilities
- Design and validate manufacturing processes being transitioned to new sites
- Specify detailed functional requirements for products
- Test, integrate, and assess manufacturing processes and fixtures
- Develop and execute comprehensive process validation plans
- Create and review specifications for materials and bills of materials
- Collaborate with internal manufacturing teams and external partners to enhance manufacturability
- Utilize CAD/CAE systems to review and alter existing engineering designs
- Make informed judgements based on professional expertise and historical experience
- Work autonomously while demonstrating sound judgment in applying discipline concepts
