Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related discipline
- Over 8 years of extensive hands-on experience with real-time embedded systems
- Strong command of C/C++ (C++11 or higher)
- Proficient in working with Linux systems and real-time operating environments
- Proven expertise in hardware/software integration
- Experience in real-time software development, hardware testing, or embedded/simulation systems
- Masters degree in a relevant engineering field (preferred)
- Familiarity with Ada (preferred)
- Background in full software development lifecycle (SDLC) (preferred)
- Knowledge of Git, GitLab, JIRA, and Agile/Scrum methodologies (preferred)
- Experience with integrating closed-loop systems (preferred)
- Understanding of automated testing frameworks and unit testing (preferred)
- Experience in low-level software, including device driver development (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance real-time embedded software using C/C++, specifically C++11 or newer
- Assist in Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) development, integration, and testing initiatives
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional engineering teams, including software, hardware, and systems components
- Integrate software seamlessly with hardware elements in real-time scenarios
- Engage in debugging, troubleshooting, and performance fine-tuning activities
- Support on-site laboratory operations, including hardware setup and test execution
- Contribute actively to the complete software development lifecycle processes
- Operate within Agile teams utilizing contemporary tools and version control systems
