Requirements
Must:
- Over 10 years of experience in PCB design and ECAD tool development, with a focus on Altium Designer and Cadence Allegro/System Capture.
- More than 10 years of application support and tool development experience for custom processes and features across both platforms.
- Extensive experience utilizing automation scripts (VBA, Altium Scripts/API, Cadence SKILL, Python) to automate PCB design processes, covering:
- Design Rule Checks (DRCs)
- Fabrication output (fab out)
- End-of-Life (EOL) checks
- In-depth background in scripting/API for enhancing layout efficiency, schematic automation, and automated verification.
- Strong expertise in Python scripting, including working with pandas data frames and Python unit testing.
- Proficiency in VBA, Altium DelphiScripts/API, Cadence SKILL, and Python.
- Experience with Git/GitHub for version control.
- Familiarity with Google style Python linter.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain custom solutions and automation tools to improve the PCBA design workflow.
- Create and manage automation scripts that ensure designs align with requirements from schematic capture through to production.
- Collaborate with the team to provide application support across ECAD platforms.
- Enhance the efficiency of PCB design processes through advanced scripting and automation techniques.
- Conduct automated checks and validations to ensure design integrity and compliance.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand and fulfill project needs.
