Requirements
Must:
- Electrical background and knowledge
- Experience with wire installation
- Advanced education, such as an Associate degree, or equivalent experience (e.g. Bachelors degree with 1 year of related work experience, or 5 years of related work experience)
- Preferred: Electrical installation experience in commercial or industrial environments
Responsibilities
- Develop, update, and release electrical/mechanical drawings, system designs, and engineering documentation in accordance with company and industry standards
- Utilize design tools to prepare documentation and implement design modifications
- Create and sustain systems designs by preparing design layouts, adjusting existing designs, and identifying design discrepancies
- Assist in engineering system design and functionality validation activities
- Develop and maintain product installation designs and component designs, from simple to moderately complex
- Coordinate activities and outputs with internal teams and external suppliers
- Operate under general supervision
- Participate in training sessions post-start
Description
We are currently seeking a Technical Designer specializing in Electrical for our team in Oklahoma City, OK. This role involves contributing to the development of lab systems, focusing on wire bundles and component installations while ensuring systems are installed correctly and safely. We provide a collaborative environment where support and training will be supplied after your start. Salary is negotiable based on experience.
